Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Buster Cherry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaice Gunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cherry comes to the cage accompanied by D-12 - Fight Music . Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Buster Cherry!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kaice Gunn!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Steve Erwin and Chris Dean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cherry moves out of range of the strikes.
Cherry misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Gunn misses with a series of wild punches.
Gunn misses with a wild body shot.
Cherry goes for a double leg but Gunn avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Gunn continues to drive forward.
Gunn tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Cherry wants a takedown but no success here.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Buster Cherry. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Gunn breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Cherry ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Gunn throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Cherry.
Cherry misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Gunn fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Cherry to the ground. Gunn is now in Cherry's guard.
Gunn throws a big elbow that misses.
Gunn throws a big right hand that misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cherry avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Cherry is pulling down on Gunn's head. It's preventing any offense from Gunn, at least for the moment.

Cherry looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Cherry pulls Gunn in close to his closed guard and prevents Gunn from doing any damage or advancing position.

Cherry is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Gunn defends well.

Cherry had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Gunn defends it easily.
Gunn loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Cherry has his hands on Gunn's head, controlling the position.
Cherry is trying to keep Gunn in close.

Gunn content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Gunn is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Cherry has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Gunn is looking to defend but Cherry has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Gunn! Cherry pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Gunn taps out and this one is all over!
