The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Willis shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Llavicrep scores with a jab to the body.
The fight stays on the outside here - Llavicrep looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Willis tries for a takedown but Llavicrep sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

and Willis decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Llavicrep's guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Llavicrep can do anything to dispel that myth.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Llavicrep has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Willis is working away from the top position though.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Llavicrep tries to get to full guard but Willis has control of the leg.
Llavicrep keeps trying to improve his position.
Willis is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Llavicrep is trying to escape the mount.
Llavicrep wants to control but Willis is having none of it.

Willis loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Llavicrep scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Willis land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Willis stands and salutes the crowd.
