Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sudo Nym (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Django Unchained (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Unchained has chosen Soviet Connection as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Unchained uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Nym.
Nym comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Nym is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Nym misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Unchained throws a body punch but Nym moves out of range.

Nym takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
We've been told by Nym's head coaches at Main Event Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Unchained throws a low kick, looking for Nym's leg but Nym calmly moves out of range.
Unchained throws a lazy right hand but Nym sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Nym checks a leg kick.
Unchained dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Nym tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Unchained defends well and Nym ends up having to push Unchained into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Unchained has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Unchained tries to land knees in the clinch but Nym avoids the damage to the body.

Nym is trying to push Unchained away but Unchained has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Nym is trying to break free.
Unchained tries to work over Nym's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Unchained misses with a knee to the head.
Unchained is pressed up against the cage. Nym has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Unchained down to the mat. Unchained avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Unchained is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Nym.

The fight stays on the outside here - Nym looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Django Unchained seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Nym takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Unchained slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

It looks like Django Unchained has been cut.

Nym ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Nym no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Nym is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Sudo Nym has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Unchained keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Nym shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Unchained pinned against the cage. Unchained gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Nym changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Unchained tries to avoid it but Nym manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Unchained to the ground. Unchained escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sudo Nym. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Unchained circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Nym drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Unchained follows Nym to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

A victorious Django Unchained thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter.
