The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takemura tries to work over Ling's front leg with a kick but Ling checks it.
Takemura throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ling gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Takemura throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ling works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Ling is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Takemura defends well.
Ling is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Takemura cracks Ling with a solid left hand.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ling working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Takemura doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Takemura manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Ling has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Takemura doesn't defend quickly enough and Ling has managed to lock this one up! Can Takemura escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Ling on a fantastic submission victory.
