Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mac Mclean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Salvador Sababale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mac Mclean!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Salvador Sababale!
The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Ben Hemmingworth and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mclean tries to land a front kick but Sababale steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Oooooh!!! Sababale has knocked Mclean down with a huge combo! Sababale steps away and waves a wobbly Mclean back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!


It looks like Mac Mclean has been cut.
Salvador Sababale seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Sababale closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Sababale is looking to improve his position but Mclean isn't that keen on the idea.

Mclean looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Mclean has hold of Sababale's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Sababale manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Mac Mclean overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Mclean with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Mclean swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Sababale is now in Mclean's guard. A big mistake from Mclean there, giving up the dominant position!

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Sababale.

Mclean closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Sababale is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Mclean dives into side control.

Mclean drops down looking for an ankle pick but Sababale pulls his leg out and moves away.

Mclean working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sababale doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sababale manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
