Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dennis Wise (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brenden Abbott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 41 - 16 - 1, fighting out of New York, Dennis Wise!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brenden Abbott!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wise takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Abbott throws a nice outside leg kick.
Abbott has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Abbott misses with a hook. Wise ducked under it nicely.
Abbott connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Wise swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nice straight punches there by Wise. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Wise.


It looks like Brenden Abbott has been cut.
Wise throws a leg kick but Abbott checks it.
Wise misses the shot to the body.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wise is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Wise lands an uppercut, right on the button! Abbott tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
