PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Darius Badolato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Obsut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Badolato might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Nneka - Heartbeat. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Obsut keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Badolato.
Badolato will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Badolato checks the leg kick nicely there.
Obsut is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Badolato.

Obsut walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Obsut is stalling here. Badolato is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Obsut seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Badolato has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Badolato tries to free his leg and advance position but Obsut is retaining full guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Darius Badolato will probably get the nod.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Obsut lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Badolato has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Badolato and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Badolato pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Obsut taps out and this one is all over!
