The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stranne throws a low kick but Ward avoids it.
Ward stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Stranne.
Ward has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Stranne.
Stranne looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Stranne pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Stranne tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Ward is able to avoid easily.
Stranne throws a wild body kick that Ward sees coming a mile off.
Stranne tries to land a front kick but Ward steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Ward ducks under a wild hook from Stranne.

Stranne misses with an uppercut.

Karl Stranne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That kick from Stranne tenderised Ward's leg. Ward is trying to keep his angry face on.

Stranne feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Ward's calf.

Stranne cracks Ward with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Ward looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Stranne finish him?

Ward leaves his chin hanging out and Stranne seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Ward crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
