And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Russell Pearce and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kummola fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Kummola moves into the clinch.
Ishii is looking to take this one to the mat.
Ishii is trying to trip Kummola. He has hold of a leg but Kummola is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Ishii persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Ishii stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kummola swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Ishii tries to free his leg and advance position but Kummola is retaining full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kummola is on top in guard.
Kummola really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ishii. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ishii is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Ishii working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kummola doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kummola manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Ishii is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Ishii manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Ishii wants to control the pace but Kummola is squirming around nicely.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ishii wants to finish this one by submission but Kummola is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Ishii.

Kummola has given up his back. Will we see Ishii going for some submissions?
Kummola is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
