And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Da Skrumbo !
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Reed Andrews and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Gompel throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Skrumbo sees it coming and avoids it easily.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Van Gompel.
Skrumbo closes the distance and clinches.
Skrumbo looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Van Gompel avoiding damage as Skrumbo throws knees to the body.
Skrumbo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Van Gompel misses with a hook
and Skrumbo counters with a series of strikes that really hurt Van Gompel! The ref looks into his eyes and sees nobody home - he's called the fight! This one is all over!
