Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antonia Duran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arthur Fonzerelo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fonzerelo has chosen Westside Connection - Hoo Bangin' (Wscg Style) as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Arthur Fonzerelo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Duran fails in his attempt to clinch.

Duran closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Duran jumps guard but Fonzerelo turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Duran breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Duran tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Duran jumps into guard, dragging Fonzerelo to the mat.

Fonzerelo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Fonzerelo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Fonzerelo pushing down on Duran's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Still in half guard, Fonzerelo seems content to control.
It looks like Fonzerelo might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fonzerelo moves nicely into side control.

Fonzerelo's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Fonzerelo has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Duran!
Duran keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Duran knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fonzerelo on the ground.
Fonzerelo takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Fonzerelo working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Duran looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Fonzerelo! Submission of the night perhaps?
