Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shank tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Cabrera swivels and escapes.

Shank closes the distance and clinches.
Cabrera is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Shank shoots in looking for a takedown but Cabrera manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Shank's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cabrera seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.

A close round but Sam Shank will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Cabrera has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Shank uses from the top position.

I would just about give that final round to Sam Shank.
Well Shank has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
