The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silver moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Silver throws a jab when Perez was well out of range.
Silver throws a right hand that misses
letting Perez counter with a right hand.
Silver lands a nice shot to the body.
Silver slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
We've been hearing reports that Perez has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Perez walks into a straight right hand from Silver.
Silver moves into range and connects with a jab.

Silver throws a lazy right hand but Perez sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Silver lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Perez is looking to close the distance but Silver sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Perez crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Perez is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
