Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tito Penn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Matty Redert!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Redert avoids it really well and circles away.
Redert lands a big head kick that sends Penn tumbling to the mat! Redert takes a step backwards and waves Penn back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Penn is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Redert moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Penn throws out a loose jab but Redert uses good head movement to avoid it.
Redert clinches up with Penn and pushes him back against the cage.
A nice right hand lands inside from Redert.
Oh Penn is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Redert pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Penn seems to have got his legs back now.
Penn pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Redert is looking to clinch.
Redert misses with a looping left.
Penn ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Redert moves away.
Penn shoots in and drives through. Redert sprawls well.
Penn misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tito Penn. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Redert thuds a left hand into Penn's body.
Penn is breathing heavily.
Penn has a takedown stuffed.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Penn on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Matty Redert seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Redert throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Matty Redert is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Redert moves into range and clinches up with Penn.
Redert will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Penn up against the cage.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Penn. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Redert lands a right hand that snaps the head of Penn backwards.

Redert has Penn pressed against the cage.
Redert's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Penn scores with a shot to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Redert feints a jab and as Penn dips his head, Redert unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Penn right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Penn falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Redert smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Matty Redert!
An out of breath Matty Redert thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
