Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jeromy Lott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gunnar Ludvik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ludvik throws a poor cross that misses
and Lott counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

and Lott counters by moving into the clinch.
Ludvik pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Lott breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Ludvik feints and as Lott raises his hands in defense, Ludvik changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Ludvik closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Lott's guard.
