Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Spencer Logan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Willie Steamin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Steamin gets caught flat footed, as Logan shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Steamin felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Spencer Logan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Steamin is fighting to break Logan's control of his arms but Logan is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Logan perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Logan is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Steamin has managed to free his arm - good work.

Steamin has a hand on Logan's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Logan takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Logan is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Steamin to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Steamin shrugs it off.
Logan manages to capitalize on a mistake by Steamin to take his back!

Logan's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
