Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sergei He (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christopher Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sergei He!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Christopher Lee!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Dmitry Maklakov and Illya Tyunina.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee defends well against a solid takedown attempt from He.
He throws a right hand that misses
enabling Lee to counter with a crisp jab.
He with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Lee to score with a decent uppercut.
A looping hook to the body misses from He. Lee does a little dance to reset his feet.
He tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Lee connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

He moves into the clinch.
Lee scores with a nice hook to the head.
Lee taking a breather.
Lee lands with a short shot to the head.
Lee scores with a shot to the side of He's head.
Lee stalling in the clinch.

He jumps guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
He controls Lee momentarily but Lee frees himself.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lee controlling from the top position.
He is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Lee tries to free his leg and advance position but He is retaining full guard.

Lee stands and steps away. He gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
We've been informed that Lee has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Lee has managed to clinch.
Lee is trying to push He away but He has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Lee's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
He shoots in for a takedown but Lee shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
He tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Lee counters with a stiff right hand.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fight stays on the outside here - He looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
He shoots in for a double leg but Lee sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sergei He. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A head kick misses from He.
He misses with a takedown
and Lee connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
No luck for He with that takedown attempt.

He clinches.

Lee lands a shoulder strike.
A body shot lands from Lee.
A nice left hand lands by Lee.
He is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
He with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Lee throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Hes head.

He decides to pull guard.
Lee would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Lee passes into half guard.
Lee sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. He defending well though.
He won't allow Lee to pass to mount.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Lee content to control rather than advance.
Lee not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Lee takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Lee is thwarting He's attempts to control the position.
Lee not doing much here.
Lee throwing shots but He is blocking nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Christopher Lee dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


He tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Lee counters with a series of strikes. He will be more careful next time no doubt.
He closes the distance looking to clinch
and Lee counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
He will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lee has He up against the cage in a clinch.
Lee lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Lee manages to break the clinch.
Sergei He is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Lee fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches He on the side of the head.
Lee connects with a good right hand that stumbles He. He circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
He fails with a takedown attempt.
He pulls out of a head kick attempt.
He closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lee circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sergei He. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lee punishes He's body with a nice straight punch.
No luck for He with that takedown attempt.
He will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Lee has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

He throws a left and a right that both miss
letting Lee counter with a right hand.
He shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lee as he jumps to the side.
Sergei He seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lee clinches up against the cage.
He fails to pull guard.
He fails to pull guard.
A right handed body shot lands from Lee.

Lee manages to break the clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lee lands the left hand.
Lee has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Lee lands a right hook to the body.
He closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lee circles away.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
He closes the distance looking to clinch
and Lee makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
He on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Lee stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lee wants it to stay on the feet.
Lee catches He with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Christopher Lee is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

He is rocked!
Lee throws the left hand but He avoids the punch easily.
Oh He is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lee throws an uppercut from half a mile away. He sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Lee throws out a loose jab but He uses good head movement to avoid it.
He drops his hands for a split second and Lee immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into He face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Lee follows up with a right hand that knocks He into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Christopher Lee!
An out of breath Christopher Lee thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
