Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bull Terrier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Oswald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oswald comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Lou Reed - The day John Kennedy Died kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bull Terrier!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lee Oswald!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oswald shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Terrier's guard.
Oswald wants to pass the guard but Terrier is keeping the position.
Oswald wants to control from the top but Terrier keeps moving.
Terrier wants to sweep here but Oswald controlling him for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Oswald gets to his feet. Terrier looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Oswald drives through with a takedown into guard.
Terrier wants to sweep but no luck.
Oswald throwing strikes but missing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Terrier is pulling down on Oswald's head to control his posture.
Oswald told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

Terrier is working an open guard so Oswald takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Terrier definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
A left lands for Terrier.
Oswald fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Terrier.

Oswald clinches up with Terrier and pushes him back against the cage.
Terrier gets through Oswald's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Oswald has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Terrier uses from the top position.

A lazy left from Oswald finds it's target.
Terrier slips a straight right by Oswald.
Bull Terrier is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Terrier throws an overhand right that lands on Oswald's shoulder, as Oswald tries to avoid the shot.
Oswald misses with a wild body shot.
Oswald throws a sloppy head kick and Terrier moves out of range easily.

Terrier moves into the clinch.
Terrier working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Oswald looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Oswald decides to pull guard.
Oswald wants to stand but Terrier is controlling the position.
Oswald tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Terrier not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Bull Terrier will probably get the nod.
That's time! Terrier's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Terrier tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Oswald tries a body shot but Terrier blocks it.
Terrier lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Terrier misses with a punch to the body.
Oswald is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Terrier gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Terrier lands with a short shot to the head.
Oswald misses with a punch to the body.
Oswald fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Bull Terrier has scored more points in the clinch so far.

Oswald blocks an uppercut.

Oswald's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Terrier swings wildly with an uppercut but Oswald uses good head movement to avoid it.
Terrier pushes Oswald back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Terrier stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Oswald breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Terrier feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Oswald sprawling to the canvas! Oswald rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Terrier finish him?!

Oswald is breathing heavily.

Terrier drops Oswald onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Oswald is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Terrier lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Oswald to his knees! Terrier keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bull Terrier!
Our winner, Bull Terrier, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
Lee Oswald was interviewed post fight and said 'I'm still standing here, so you apparently didn't accomplish your goal.'.
