Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lance Brennan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sinan Cavus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sinan Cavus has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lance Brennan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sinan Cavus!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cavus clinches.

Cavus has picked Brennan up - he's going for a ride! Cavus dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Cavus is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Cavus is keen to just control but Brennan is a slippery customer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brennan is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Cavus in particular looking to stall.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cavus is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Sinan Cavus has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Cavus keeps the fight on the outside.
Cavus throws a right and a left that both miss.

Cavus drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Brennan tries to bench press Cavus off him but Cavus keeps the position.
Brennan gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Cavus is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Cavus decides to stand up.

Cavus postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Brennan escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cavus gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Cavus decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Cavus closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Brennan did well to prevent Cavus getting side control.
Brennan wants to improve his position but Cavus is controlling well.
Brennan has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Cavus is working away from the top position though.
Cavus is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Cavus thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Brennan's head.
Cavus frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Cavus is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Brennan can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Sinan Cavus showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A lull in the action here as Cavus stalls from top position.
Let's hope that Cavus has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Brennan has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Cavus avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Cavus ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Cavus no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Cavus is controlling Brennan's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Cavus is looking for a sweep. Brennan is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Sinan Cavus comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Cavus has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
