The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by McDougal!
McDougal's jab looks to have found its range, popping Liberte under the eye.
McDougal fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
McDougal misses with a hook. Liberte ducked under it nicely.
Some wild striking there from McDougal.

Liberte bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops McDougal! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

It looks like Pop McDougal has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Liberte with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Liberte drops back looking for a leg! McDougal is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and McDougal manages to kick Liberte off! Liberte jumps back into McDougal's guard.
Liberte content to stall in guard here.
McDougal can't keep his opponent in guard - Liberte advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Liberte working over McDougal with some ground and pound. McDougal looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Liberte drops an elbow to the side of McDougal's head.

Liberte stands up out of the half guard.
Liberte throws a sloppy head kick and McDougal moves out of range easily.
Liberte lets loose with a powerful body kick. McDougal will feel that in the morning.
Urano Liberte seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
McDougal stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Liberte.
McDougal looks winded!
McDougal is holding his hands too far apart here. Liberte throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! McDougal is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
