The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Byczynski tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Rogers manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Byczynski tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rogers paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Byczynski avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Steve Rogers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A clash of legs there as Byczynski blocks the low kick.
Byczynski is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Rogers.

Rogers lands a big right hook! Byczynski looks hurt but is still standing! Rogers lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Byczynski falls down and Rogers dives in with a huge hammer fist! Byczynski's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Rogers runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
