Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alfonso Wall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alfonso Wall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rocky Balboa!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Balboa forces Wall back against the cage and clinches.

Balboa lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Balboa not doing much here.
Wall might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Balboa works his way into side control.
Balboa prevents Wall from escaping the position.
Wall being controlled for a moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wall tries to buck Balboa off but Balboa is having none of it.

Balboa stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Balboa closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Balboa trying to control the action but Wall is working from the bottom.
Wall pushes Balboa off looking to stand but Balboa dives back in and keeps control.
Balboa content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Wall wants to get back to full guard but Balboa has mounted him!
Wall's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Balboa tries to control but Wall wriggling away.

Balboa content just to control the position here.
Wall is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Balboa sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Balboa misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Rocky Balboa dominated that round.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Balboa looking to score a takedown here. Wall is defending well but Balboa drives through and ends up in Wall's guard.

Balboa stands up and waves to Wall to follow him.

Balboa has taken the fight to the clinch.
Balboa keeps control of Wall as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Wall has had enough of the clinch but Balboa keeps him there for the moment.
Wall wants to break free but Balboa has control.

Balboa has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Wall regains guard immediately.
Wall looking to hit a scissor sweep but Balboa is one step ahead there.
Wall has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Balboa has passed into side control.
Wall is trying to improve his position.
Balboa just content to control the position.

Balboa is trying to get an arm triangle but Wall is defending well.
Wall tries to improve position but can't.

Balboa stands up.
Wall tries to clinch but Balboa is having none of it.

Balboa pushes Wall up against the cage in a clinch.
Wall managing to block the knees to the body from Balboa.

Balboa pulls Wall into guard.
Balboa wants to get back to his feet but Wall is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Wall trying to stand up but can't free himself from Balboa's guard.
Balboa tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Wall wants to get up but he can't break Balboa's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Balboa looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Wall puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Balboa wants to get back to his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Balboa wants to control but Wall is keeping busy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rocky Balboa showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Balboa closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Wall's guard.
Balboa content to stall in guard here.
Balboa trying to control the position from guard on top but Wall is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Balboa postures up in Wall's guard and throws a big left but Wall blocks it.

Wall is working an open guard so Balboa takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Balboa uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wall.
Balboa circles away from the clinch attempt.
Balboa tries to clinch but Wall moves out of range.

Wall tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Balboa manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Balboa forces Wall back against the cage and clinches.

Balboa pulls guard effortlessly.
Balboa working a defensive guard but Wall manages to pass into side control anyway.
Balboa manages to work his way to half guard, despite Wall's best efforts.

Wall is looking for a kimura but Balboa is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Wall to get the leverage.
Balboa is trying to stand back up but Wall is controlling him
Balboa tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Balboa trying to control but Wall postures up.

Wall is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Balboa doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Wall.
Balboa trying to hold on to Wall's head to control him but Wall postures up.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Balboa pushes Wall off and gets back to his feet.
Rocky Balboa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Balboa closes the distance and clinches.

Balboa has picked Wall up - he's going for a ride! Balboa dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Wall is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Balboa stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Wall to get to his feet.
Wall connects with a body shot that sends Balboa's belly button to the back.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Balboa tries to clinch up.
Balboa connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Wall's hands.
Rocky Balboa is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Balboa shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Balboa wants to control from the top but Wall keeps moving.
Balboa passes Wall's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Wall is looking for a sweep. Balboa is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Wall is refusing to be controlled, as Balboa sits in half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Balboa stands up and beckons Wall to join him on the feet.

And that's the end of the fight!
Rocky Balboa comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Balboa has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
