Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tweedle Dee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dee has chosen Chumbawamba - Tubthumping as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 31 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jorge Junior!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 44 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Tweedle Dee!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Richard Clark and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dee displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Junior throws out the jab.

We've been hearing reports that Junior has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Dee chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Junior can pounce on him.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Junior cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Horrible takedown attempt by Junior or perhaps it was just good defense by Dee, which made it look bad.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Tweedle Dee hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Junior closes the distance and clinches up with Dee, looking for a takedown. Junior pushes Dee against the cage but Dee circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Junior fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Dee has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Junior dives in for a single leg takedown but Dee sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
