With a record of 15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Will Dearborn!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Chris Edwards and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miyamoto misses with a double jab
and Dearborn cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Dearborn has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Miyamoto takes a kick to the side of the head.
Miyamoto throws a hook but Dearborn blocks it.
Miyamoto tries to clinch but Dearborn moves out of range.
Miyamoto wants to clinch.
Dearborn throws a leg kick which misses Miyamoto's front leg but catches the back leg as Miyamoto tries to avoid it.
Phoenix Miyamoto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Miyamoto tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dearborn manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Dearborn staying out of range there.
Miyamoto misses with a wild body shot.
Miyamoto tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Miyamoto throws out a loose jab but Dearborn uses good head movement to avoid it.
Dearborn scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Miyamoto has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Dearborn.

Dearborn looks to score with a jab to the body but Miyamoto is just out of range.
Nice uppercut lands for Dearborn. That snapped Miyamoto's head back.
Miyamoto tries to clinch but Dearborn moves out of range.

Miyamoto tries to close the distance and clinch but Dearborn swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Dearborn lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Miyamoto throws a right and a left that both miss.
Miyamoto stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Dearborn.
Dearborn connects with an inside leg kick.
Miyamoto checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

Oooooh!!! Dearborn has knocked Miyamoto down with a huge combo! Dearborn steps away and waves a wobbly Miyamoto back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Phoenix Miyamoto has been cut.

Oh Miyamoto is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Miyamoto is breathing heavily.
Dearborn and Miyamoto are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Dearborn throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Miyamoto into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Dearborn knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Will Dearborn!
