The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maximus fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Media checks it well.
No luck for Media with that takedown attempt.
Media tries for a takedown but Maximus sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Media closes the distance and clinches up with Maximus, looking for a takedown. Media pushes Maximus against the cage but Maximus circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Liberal Media. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Maximus looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Media with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

A relieved looking Antonio Maximus thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
