The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bresnar closes the distance and clinches.
Davenport jumps guard but Bresnar stands there with Davenport around his waist. Davenport gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Bresnar is trying to trip Davenport. He has hold of a leg but Davenport is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Bresnar persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Bresnar postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Bresnar landing with the ground and pound.
Bresnar postures up and lands a big shot to Davenport's brow.
Davenport really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Davenport has momentary wrist control but Bresnar slips an elbow through the middle.
Davenport is rocked!
Bresnar gets to his feet and stands over Davenport, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Davenport felt that one! Bresnar unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Davenport from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lock Bresnar!
