Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pertti Silsa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorge Untalan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silsa comes to the cage accompanied by Candy by Robbie Williams. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
13 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Pertti Silsa!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jorge Untalan!
The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Darius Henderson and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silsa circles away from the clinch attempt.
Untalan tries to clinch up.
Silsa paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Silsa looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Silsa takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Untalan closes the distance and clinches.
Silsa breaks the clinch.
Untalan tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Silsa manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Untalan doesn't manage to clinch there - Silsa circles away.
Silsa gets tackled into the cage by Untalan. Untalan maintains the clinch.
Silsa has a couple of punches blocked by Untalan.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Untalan pushes Silsa back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Silsa has picked Untalan up - he's going for a ride! Silsa dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Untalan is trying to stand.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Silsa looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Silsa in particular looking to stall.
Untalan looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Silsa prevents Untalan from standing back up.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Silsa is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Silsa can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Untalan is looking to escape.
Untalan wants to try and get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silsa takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Silsa scores with a couple of good head shots there.
It looks like Jorge Untalan has been cut.
Silsa trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Silsa raining down hammerfists from mount.
That has opened up Jorge Untalan's cut even more.
Untalan is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Silsa can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Untalan is looking to escape.
Silsa working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Silsa is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Untalan can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Untalan trying desperately to get to his feet.

Untalan is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Silsa has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jorge Untalan's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
