Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bas Severn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Manoel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Manoel comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Hino do Flamengo kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Antonio Manoel told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manoel goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Severn dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Manoel. That did some damage!
Severn throws a wild body kick that Manoel sees coming a mile off.
Manoel scores with a hook.
Severn scoring well with a low kick there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Manoel throws a body shot but no joy.
Severn goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Manoel blocks a head kick by Severn.
Manoel drops his hands momentarily and Severn takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

It looks like Antonio Manoel has been cut.
An inside leg kick from Manoel misses.
Severn turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Manoel jabs at Severn's body.
Manoel looks for the body kick but Severn saw that one coming.
A punch lands to the side of Manoel 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Severn misses with a low kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Severn moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Manoel bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Severn comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Manoel falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Manoel was out before he hit the floor!
