The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Serra's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Schroeder connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Serra scrambles back to his feet.
Serra shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Schroeder defends it nicely.
Serra shoots in and drives through. Schroeder sprawls well.

Serra drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Schroeder dives on top into guard.

Schroeder stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Serra swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Serra has his feet on Schroeder's thighs here. He's pushed Schroeder off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Schroeder screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Matt Serra decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
