Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dax Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Dean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dean has chosen The Bucketheads - The Bomb [These Sounds Fall Into My Mind] as his entrance music. Dax Miller has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Dean!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Dean or perhaps it was just good defense by Miller, which made it look bad.
Dean fails with a takedown attempt.
Miller misses the shot to the body.
Dean fails to land the takedown.
Dax Miller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Dean.
Miller dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Dean. That did some damage!

Dean wants to take the fight to the mat but Miller manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Dean tries to land a knee to the head but Miller blocks with his arms.
Miller's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Dean is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Miller is keeping busy.
Dean jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Miller walks away with a smile on his face. Dean gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Dean dives in and grabs Miller's left leg, looking for a takedown. Miller pushes down on Dean's head and hops out.
Dax Miller is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Dean shoots in looking for a takedown but Miller manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dean's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Miller tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Miller fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Dean looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Miller is looking to wear down Dean with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dean tries to clinch there but Miller circles away.
Dean goes for a double leg but Miller avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Miller continues to drive forward.

Miller with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Miller lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Dean backwards.

Dean tries to pull guard but Miller holds him up against the cage and eventually Dean drops back down to his feet.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Miller lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Dean or not.
Dean is trying to force a seperation but Miller has the dominant position.

Miller lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Miller makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Miller lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Dean tries to pull guard but Miller won't allow it.
Miller lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dean tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Miller just stands there and leans against the cage.

Dean tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Dean sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Miller throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Miller pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Miller closes the distance and clinches.
Dean blocks a body shot from Miller.
Dean takes a shot to the head.
Dean is trying to pull guard but Miller has him pressed against the cage.
Miller is pushing Dean up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Dean has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Miller.

Dean has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Miller is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Dean leaves his chin hanging out and Miller seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Dean crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
