The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Waldbauer uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hughs.
Hughs closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Hughs lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Waldbauer is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Hughs to keep the fight standing.
