PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Dark Killer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Halfdan Lodbrok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lodbrok has chosen Killing in the name of... as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Killer moves into the clinch.
Killer lands a right hand.
Killer lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Killer breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lodbrok jabs at Killer's body.
Lodbrok pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lodbrok throws a head kick but Killer moves out of range.
Lodbrok misses with a body kick.
Crunch! Lodbrok slams his shin into Killer's torso.
Lodbrok fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Killer tries to clinch but Lodbrok is having none of it.
Killer gets cracked there but stands up to it.

It looks like Dark Killer has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lodbrok throws a wild body kick that Killer sees coming a mile off.
Halfdan Lodbrok seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lodbrok lands with a right hand.
Lodbrok throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Killer takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Killer avoids the head kick by Lodbrok.
A slow jab from Lodbrok misses its intended target.
Lodbrok misses with a head kick.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Killer fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
A shot to the liver by Lodbrok. Beautiful body shot.
Lodbrok with a nice cross.
Lodbrok throws out a powerful jab.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lodbrok moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Lodbrok throws a nice outside leg kick.
Killer takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Killer fails in his attempt to clinch.
Lodbrok lands a nice shot that snaps Killer's head back.
A jab from Lodbrok finds it's way through Killer's defenses.

Killer is rocked!
Look low, kick high! Lodbrok uses the oldest trick in the book to send Killer tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Lodbrok is absolutely delighted - when Killer wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Halfdan Lodbrok!

Halfdan Lodbrok tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
