Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Akira Akiyama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Conchito El Guapo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). El Guapo has chosen Bebot as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akiyama lands with a good body shot.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Akiyama pushes El Guapo away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, El Guapo gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
El Guapo misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Akiyama knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for El Guapo on the ground.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

El Guapo is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Akiyama can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
