Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ebenezer Scrooge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brad Brennan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
14 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ebenezer Scrooge!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brad Brennan!
The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Steve Erwin and Ben Hemmingworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scrooge fails to land with a series of punches.
Scrooge throws a head kick that misses.
Left hook, right uppercut from Scrooge.
It looks like Brad Brennan has been cut.
Scrooge connects with a single shot there.
Brennan swings for the body but Scrooge moves out of range.
Brennan walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Scrooge moves into range and clinches up with Brennan.
Brennan lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Brennan tries to throw a body punch but Scrooge avoids it by throwing Brennan back against the cage.
Brennan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Scrooge pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Brennan back to the cage. Scrooge follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Scrooge misses with a double jab.
Scrooge scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Scrooge is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Brennan has escaped the position, nice work there.
Scrooge tries for a kimura but Brennan is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Scrooge is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Brennan looks calm but he's in trouble here. Scrooge gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Brennan is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Scrooge lets go of the hold and Brennan can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Ebenezer Scrooge!
Ebenezer Scrooge was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
