Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Leon DeLaurier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis Pegeant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leon DeLaurier!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dennis Pegeant!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

DeLaurier moves into the clinch successfully.
Pegeant stops a takedown attempt from DeLaurier.

DeLaurier works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
DeLaurier missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
DeLaurier throws an elbow that misses. Pegeant uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in DeLaurier's guard. Nice move by Pegeant!

Pegeant is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
DeLaurier chips away with some ground and pound.

DeLaurier postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Pegeant is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of DeLaurier, into his guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
DeLaurier wants to get back to his feet but Pegeant is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Pegeant looking to sit in guard and control but DeLaurier gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

DeLaurier bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Pegeant's guard.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Pegeant throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
DeLaurier comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from DeLaurier is defended easily by Pegeant.

DeLaurier throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
DeLaurier shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pegeant pinned against the cage. Pegeant gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
