PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Howard Stern (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexandr Loshkarev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stern comes to the cage accompanied by The Great American Nightmare. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Loshkarev changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Stern looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Loshkarev is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Stern knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Stern looking to break Loshkarev's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Loshkarev remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Stern will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Loshkarev escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Stern gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Loshkarev bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Stern's guard.

Stern has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Loshkarev can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Loshkarev is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Stern has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Loshkarev is looking to defend but Stern has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Loshkarev! Stern pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Loshkarev taps out and this one is all over!
