Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ein Stein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Witt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Witt has chosen Animal by Disturbed as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ein Stein!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 34 - 10 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Aaron Witt!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Andrew Berry and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stein defending well as Witt loads up on a big left hand.
Witt misses with a hook

and Stein counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Stein missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Witt is trying to maintain the position but Stein is very close to passing his half guard.
Stein wants to lay and pray for a moment but Witt keeps working.
Witt keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Stein seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Witt does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stein wants to free his trapped foot but Witt is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Stein shoots in looking for a takedown. Witt tries to sprawl out of it but Stein keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Witt manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Witt feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Steins jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Witt takes a swing at Stein's ribcage but misses.

Witt throws an overhand right that lands on Stein's shoulder, as Stein tries to avoid the shot.
Stein scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Witt doesn't seem bothered though.

Witt fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Stein on the side of the head.
Witt loads up on a big right hand but Stein slips the punch.

Stein closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Stein lands in his opponent's guard.
Witt tries to land a sweep but no joy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Ein Stein will probably get the nod.

Stein on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Stein bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Witt throws a hook to the side of Stein's head but Stein sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

A jab from Stein finds it's way through Witt's defenses.
Witt throws a low kick but Stein moves out of range easily.
Stein dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Witt. That did some damage!

Stein shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Witt sprawls well. Witt wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Stein gets slowly back to his feet.
Aaron Witt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Stein counters with a shoot takedown. Witt fights it but they end up in guard.

Witt bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Stein's guard.

Stein got a little sloppy there for a moment and Witt has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Stein has managed to get both his arms back between Witt's legs - danger averted.

Stein closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
