Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sho Shinjo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Snuka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shinjo comes to the cage accompanied by Theme of Sho. Snuka is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Superfly by Curtis Mayfield. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snuka misses with a body shot.
Shinjo throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Snuka.
Shinjo misses with a head kick.
Shinjo throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Snuka tries to clinch up but Shinjo circles away and keeps his distance.
Shinjo lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

and Shinjo counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Shinjo misses with a head shot. Snuka uses the momentum to regain guard.

Snuka had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Shinjo defends it easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Shinjo throws a big elbow that misses.
Shinjo postures up in Snuka's guard and throws a big left but Snuka blocks it.

Shinjo is working Snuka over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Shinjo drops back looking for a leg! Snuka is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Snuka manages to kick Shinjo off! Shinjo jumps back into Snuka's guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Shinjo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Snuka has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Shinjo has managed to get both his arms back between Snuka's legs - danger averted.
