Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Point Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dirk Pitt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pitt has chosen Pitt Don't Play Dat as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Colin Fotheringham and Phil Schofield.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fighter closes the distance and clinches up with Pitt, looking for a takedown. Fighter pushes Pitt against the cage but Pitt circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Pitt lunges at Fighter with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Fighter's hand.
Pitt uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Fighter.
Fighter throws a body punch but Pitt moves out of range.
We've been hearing reports that Fighter has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Fighter gets tackled into the cage by Pitt. Pitt maintains the clinch.

Fighter jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Pitt walks away with a smile on his face. Fighter gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Good leg kick by Pitt there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Well Pitt has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
