Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Wooten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Giorgio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wooten comes to the cage accompanied by Battle Cry- Judas Priest. George Giorgio acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kevin Wooten!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, George Giorgio!
The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Giorgio checks a leg kick.
Giorgio changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wooten tries to avoid it but Giorgio manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wooten to the ground. Wooten escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Wooten definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Wooten misses with a low kick as Giorgio jumps back.
Wooten throws a leg kick but Giorgio sees it coming and moves out of range.
Giorgio lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wooten circles away quickly and effectively.
Giorgio looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Giorgio fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Wooten avoids it really well and circles away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Giorgio tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wooten swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Giorgio's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Wooten connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Giorgio scrambles back to his feet.
Giorgio tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wooten sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Giorgio somewhat.

Wooten lands a left and a right that send Giorgio crashing to the mat, dazed. Wooten thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Giorgio tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Wooten paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Wooten throws a solid leg kick but Giorgio takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Wooten.
Giorgio shoots in for a takedown but Wooten shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Wooten lands a left and a right that send Giorgio crashing to the mat, dazed. Wooten thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

and Wooten counters with a crisp one two that drops Giorgio! Wooten thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Giorgio to his feet! Giorgio is in big trouble!
Giorgio is still on wobbly legs! Can Wooten finish him?
This has been an exciting period of action!

Giorgio throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Wooten tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Giorgio is in Wooten's guard.

Wooten's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Giorgio is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Wooten moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
