The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wall shoots in and drives through. Lesnar sprawls well.

Lesnar closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Wall did well to prevent Lesnar getting side control.
Wall wants to improve his position but Lesnar is controlling well.
Lesnar content to control rather than advance.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Still in half guard, Lesnar seems content to control.
Lesnar is nestled in close to Wall, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Let's hope that Lesnar has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Brock Lesnar was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Lesnar slaps away a takedown attempt from Wall, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Lesnar changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wall looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Lesnar wants to stand but Wall is controlling his arm.
Wall is trying to get back to half guard.

Lesnar tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Lesnar thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Lesnar decides to stand back up. Lesnar steps back and let's Wall get back to his feet.

Wall has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Lesnar manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Brock Lesnar.

Lesnar shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Lesnar showed some decent athleticism there.

Lesnar is pressing down on Wall's thigh, looking to free his foot. Wall is holding on for now.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

and Wall counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Wall doesn't manage to clinch there - Lesnar circles away.
