Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Keith Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafael Van Brick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Keith Hunt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rafael Van Brick!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Hugh Johnson and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Brick tries a head kick but it misses.

Hunt manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Van Brick on his heels. He'll look to pass Van Brick's guard now, I'm sure.
Van Brick is trying to control the position but Hunt postures up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Keith Hunt.

Van Brick shoots for a double leg takedown but Hunt sprawls well. He's pushed Van Brick's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Van Brick swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Van Brick throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Van Brick tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hunt defends well and Van Brick ends up having to push Hunt into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Van Brick jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hunt walks away with a smile on his face. Van Brick gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Hunt on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hunt tries to get out of the position.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Rafael Van Brick hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Hunt shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Van Brick sprawls well. Van Brick wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hunt gets slowly back to his feet.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Keith Hunt.
Well Hunt has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
