Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Reggie Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Fall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anderson comes to the cage accompanied by The Champ is Here. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 6 - 2, fighting out of New York, Reggie Anderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Fall!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fall looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Anderson is fending him off so far but Fall persists. Nope, Anderson circles away and we're back to standing.
Anderson looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Fall gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Anderson lands a front kick.
Fall takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Anderson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Fall connects with a jab.
Anderson is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Fall shoots in for a double leg but Anderson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Anderson throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Anderson is looking to slow Fall down with leg kicks.
Anderson lands a head shot.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sloppy strikes from Fall. Those never looked like landing.
A telegraphed right hand from Anderson misses the target.
Fall avoids a kick to the body.
Anderson delivers a nice body kick.
Anderson throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Anderson throws a head kick but Fall moves out of range.
Anderson dives in for a single leg takedown but Fall sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Fall is trying to break the clinch but Anderson has him pressed against the cage.
Fall prevents the takedown attempt.

Fall manages to break the clinch.
Fall jabs Anderson to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Reggie Anderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Anderson slips a jab and a cross from Fall.
No joy there for Fall, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Fall has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Anderson misses with a straight right.
Fall takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Anderson misses with a wild body shot.

Anderson gets caught flat footed, as Fall shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Fall postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Anderson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Fall, into his guard.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Fall looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Fall is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Anderson is aware though and is defending well.
Fall utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Fall is trying to keep Anderson in close.
Fall looking for a sweep. Not yet Fall, not yet.
Anderson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Fall is keeping the position for now.
Anderson's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Anderson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fall swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Anderson trying to control the position from guard on top but Fall is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Fall looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Anderson passes into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fall is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Fall is not content to let Anderson control the position.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Fall wants to improve his position but Anderson is controlling well.
Anderson tries to pass to full mount but Fall defends it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Fall tries to get to full guard but Anderson has control of the leg.
Anderson wants to pass to mount but Fall is defending the position.
Anderson is thwarting Fall's attempts to control the position.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Anderson throws a nice outside leg kick.
Anderson tries to work over Fall's front leg with a kick but Fall checks it.
Fall lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Anderson defending well as Fall loads up on a big left hand.
Anderson throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Reggie Anderson will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Anderson connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Fall throws a series of punches but Anderson moves out of range.
Anderson connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Anderson dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Fall cracks Anderson with an open hand slap.
Fall scores with a jab. Anderson acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Fall shoots in for a takedown but Anderson shows good takedown defense.
Anderson motions for Fall to come forward. Anderson throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Anderson.
Fall moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Anderson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Fall.
Fall displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Anderson throws out the jab.
The fighters circle momentarily. Fall darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Anderson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Fall.
Anderson is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Anderson throws a wild body kick that Fall sees coming a mile off.
Fall uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Anderson has time to react.

Anderson lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Anderson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Fall.
Fall closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Fall thuds his right hand into Anderson's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Fall shoots in but Anderson avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Anderson attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
A jab lands there for Fall.
Fall might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Anderson connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Fall scores with a hook.
Anderson throws a good cross that connects.
Fall misses with a takedown attempt - Anderson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Reggie Anderson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Fall.
Fall avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Anderson throws a body punch but Fall moves out of range.

Fall throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Fall feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Anderson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Fall's guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Fall is trying to maintain the position but Anderson is very close to passing his half guard.
Fall makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Fall.
Anderson postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fall is looking to improve his position.
Anderson is looking to take a break and control but Fall is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Reggie Anderson will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Anderson scores with a hook to the body. Fall takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Anderson, right into the meat.
Fall bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

and Anderson counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Anderson.

A nice left hand lands by Anderson.
Fall is trying to break free.
Anderson lands a left hand that snaps the head of Fall backwards.
Fall looking to stall.
Anderson lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Fall backwards.

Anderson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Anderson is trying is best to control the position here.
Fall wants to control but Anderson is keeping him busy.

Fall is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Anderson is looking to control Fall's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Anderson avoid being mounted?
Fall not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Anderson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Fall is looking for a kimura but Anderson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Fall to get the leverage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Anderson is concentrating on defense, preventing Fall from advancing position.
Anderson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Fall wants to free his trapped foot but Anderson is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Fall controlling the action here.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Anderson lands a nice shot to the body.
Fall has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Anderson finds it's way round the side to connect with Fall's head.
Anderson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fall pinned against the cage. Fall gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Anderson scores with a head kick. Fall tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Good leg kick by Anderson there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Anderson connects with an inside leg kick.

Fall gets a double leg takedown into Anderson's guard.
Anderson pulls Fall in close to prevent any damage.
Fall looking to pass the guard.
Fall trying to control but Anderson is working from the bottom.

Reggie Anderson showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Anderson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
