Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Morley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rudy Pu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adam Morley has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adam Morley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rudy Pu!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Joseph Jones and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pu throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Morley counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Morley shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pu as he avoids it easily.
Pu throws a right hand that Morley ducks under and follows up with a left that Morley also avoids with ease.

Morley closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Morley thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Pu is trying to control but can't.
Pu blocking the ground and pound attempt from Morley.
Pu has his hands clasped together around Morley's back. He's all about the action.
Morley sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Pu defending well though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pu is trying to stand back up but Morley is controlling him
Morley not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Pu keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Pu is staying active underneath Morley, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Pu lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Pu throws a hook to the side of Morley's head but Morley sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Pu is looking to clinch but Morley is avoiding it.
Morley shoots in for a takedown but Pu shows good takedown defense.
Pu is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Morley.
Morley misses with a right hand
and Pu counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Morley walks into a straight right hand from Pu.

Morley shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Pu is trying to defend but Morley finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Pu trying to hold on to Morley's head to control him but Morley postures up.
Morley wants to pass to mount but Pu is defending the position.
Pu pushes Morley off but Morley dives into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The ground and pound from Morley seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Pu sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Morley not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Morley throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Morley working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Pu's thigh. Pu counters though and makes it back to full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pu wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Morley manages to pass to side control.

Pu wants to sweep but Morley has passed to side control!
Pu taking punishment in the form of punches.
Morley lands a few punches from side control.
Morley lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Morley tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Pu is pushing Morley's head away, looking to escape. Morley manages to hold on to the position though.
Pu is working to avoid the ground and pound but Morley connects with a decent elbow.
Pu tries to buck Morley off but Morley is having none of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Morley shoots in for a double leg but Pu sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Pu wants to clinch up but Morley keeps it at a distance.

Pu looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Pu is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Morley lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Still in half guard, Morley seems content to control.
Morley slips a nice elbow through Pu's hands, connecting with Pu's forehead.
Pu is trying to maintain the position but Morley is very close to passing his half guard.

Pu gets back to full guard.
Pu is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Pu throws out a loose jab but Morley uses good head movement to avoid it.

Morley decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Pu slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Morley cracks Pu with a solid left hand.

Morley throws an elbow that misses. Pu uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Morley's guard. Nice move by Pu!

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Morley holds on and takes a little breather.
Pu prevents Morley from getting back to his feet.
Rudy Pu has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Morley on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Morley tries to get out of the position.
Morley thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Morley bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Pu's guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Morley got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pu has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Morley has managed to get both his arms back between Pu's legs - danger averted.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Morley, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
