Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edinger Nucleus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darek Bautista (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Bautista's choice of entrance music: Hugo Stage - The Circuit. Edinger Nucleus has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Darek Bautista!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Bruno Lombardi and Jorge Garcia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bautista is defended easily by Nucleus.
Bautista shoots in but no luck this time.
Nucleus lands with a shot to the body.
Nucleus lands with a kick to the ribs.
Bautista shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Nucleus defends it nicely.
Edinger Nucleus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Darek Bautista.

Bautista doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Nucleus counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Bautista is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Nucleus pulls his head out easily.

Nucleus is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bautista doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Nucleus.
Bautista tries to roll over but Nucleus keeps him under control.

Nucleus is working for a kimura but Bautista is defending it quite comfortably.

Nucleus in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Bautista tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Nucleus!
