Saint comes to the cage accompanied by Bad Company - Holy Water. Veron has chosen The Who - Won't Get Fooled Again as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saint throws a front kick aimed at Veron's knee but Veron avoids it well.
Veron tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Saint was well out of range. Poor timing from Veron.
Saint throws a nice outside leg kick.
Veron connects with a solid leg kick.
Veron moves out of range as Saint strikes.
Saint does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Veron throws a solid leg kick but Saint takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Veron.
Saint takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Veron has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Veron there as he acknowledges the shot.

Saint walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Veron checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Veron working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

Veron's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Veron breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Veron lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Saint has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Saint and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Well Veron has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
