Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bernhard Bosse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frankie Fryer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bosse comes to the cage accompanied by Thin Lizzy - Whiskey In The Jar. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bernhard Bosse!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Frankie Fryer!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paulsen Ambrosius and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bosse bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Bosse closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Fryer is trying to stand up here but Bosse is controlling him well.
Bosse is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Fryer!
Fryer bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Fryer must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Fryer trying to control but Bosse is working from the bottom.
Bosse manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Fryer wants to control but Bosse is having none of it.
Fryer might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Bosse haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Fryer working to try and regain half guard.
Bosse wants to control the pace but Fryer is squirming around nicely.

Bosse in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Bosse trying to control but Fryer is having none of it.

Bosse thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Bosse throws a strike there. Fryer manages to avoid it well and slips a leg under to get to half guard.
Fryer is refusing to be controlled, as Bosse sits in half guard.
Fryer wants to control but Bosse is keeping busy.
Fryer is looking to improve his position.

Bosse is stalling here. Fryer is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Bosse seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Fryer has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Fryer trying to control the position but Bosse is working away.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Fryer creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Bosse sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Fryer laying and praying for a moment but Bosse takes advantage and regains half guard.

Bosse looking for subs from the bottom but Fryer mounts him!
Bosse sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Bosse wants to get back to full guard but Fryer has passed into side control.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bosse is trying to improve his position.
Bosse avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Fryer.
Bosse regains half guard.
Bosse is looking to control Fryer's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bosse avoid being mounted?
Bosse has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Bosse moves into full guard.
Bosse looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Bosse trying to keep a closed guard but Fryer is proving a slippery customer.
Bosse bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Fryer's guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Fryer had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bosse defends it easily.
Bosse in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Fryer seems keen to control Bosse's posture.
Bosse landing some decent shots from guard.
Bosse trying to control the position from guard on top but Fryer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Fryer can't keep his opponent in guard - Bosse advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Fryer taking some punishment here, with Bosse in his half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bernhard Bosse dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Fryer gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Fryer fails to pull guard.
Fryer goes for a takedown in the clinch but Bosse prevents it.
Fryer tries to circle away but Bosse has him pinned against the cage.
Bosse gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Fryer.
Bernhard Bosse has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frankie Fryer.
Fryer wants a takedown.

Fryer jumps guard.
Bosse keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Fryer's head.
Bosse works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Bosse moves nicely into side control.
Bosse wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fryer keeps working.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bosse is really struggling to control Fryer but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Bosse connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Fryer some visible discomfort.
Fryer gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Bosse breaks from Fryer's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Bosse wants to control the pace but Fryer is squirming around nicely.
Fryer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bosse. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Fryer tries to improve his position but Bosse has taken his back! Bosse has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Fryer tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Bosse pushes Fryer away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Bernhard Bosse!
