The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Silva doesn't manage to clinch there - Jamppa circles away.
Jamppa tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Silva is able to avoid easily.

and Silva counters with a head kick. That will keep Jamppa thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Silva bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Jamppa's head backwards.

and Silva counters with a crisp one two that drops Jamppa! Silva thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Jamppa to his feet! Jamppa is in big trouble!

Silva seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Jamppa told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.

Eduardo Silva was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
