Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cosmo Carboni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Silverback Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lesnar has chosen go coors! as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 33 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Silverback Lesnar!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Paulo Santos and Thiago Cunha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lesnar throws a body punch but Carboni moves out of range.

Lesnar has Carboni pressed against the cage, preventing Carboni from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Carboni takes an elbow to the temple.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Lesnar just misses with a elbow thrown towards Carboni's brow.
Lesnar can't find room to land a body shot as Carboni controls the action.
Carboni wants to break free but Lesnar has control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Silverback Lesnar dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Lesnar will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Carboni connects with a body shot that sends Lesnar's belly button to the back.
Lesnar is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Carboni.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Lesnar in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lesnar is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Carboni takes an elbow to the forehead.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Cosmo Carboni's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
