The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jabber fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Jabber has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Genia is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Genia moves out of range as Jabber strikes.
Jabber throws a head kick but Genia moves out of range.
Jabber tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Nice defenses there by Genia.
Genia shoots in for a takedown but Jabber shows good takedown defense.
Jabber misses with a low kick as Genia jumps back.

and Genia counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Jim Jabber seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jabber misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Genia.
Jabber tries a low kick but Genia avoids it.
Jabber explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Jabber looks to score with a jab to the body but Genia is just out of range.
Genia thows a body kick. Jabber tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Jabber throws a series of punches but Genia avoids them all with ease.
Jabber dips to his left and cracks Genia with an uppercut!

and Genia counters with a good low kick that Jabber was not able to check.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Genia! Jabber is out on his feet! Genia rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Jabber is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Jabber is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
